Herman M. Holloway, Jr., a lifelong community advocate whose tireless efforts have profoundly impacted the lives of countless Wilmingtonians and Delawarians, especially the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those facing challenging circumstances.
HIS STORY
Herman Holloway, Jr. dedicated his life to championing the rights and needs of our most vulnerable citizens. Through his unwavering commitment, he worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone had access to essential services, support, and opportunities for a better quality of life. His years of dedicated service as Executive Director of the Martin Luther King Center of Delaware, as Board President of the Wilmington Housing Authority and as a State of Delaware elected official ( Delaware State Representative of 3rd Representative District); in addition to his involvement and advocacy with the NAACP, the Henrietta Johnson Medical Center, Rose Hill Community Center and the 1212 Corporation highlight his lifelong dedication as a public servant.
